Mrs. Eva Ribota obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and her master’s degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She has been teaching at South Hi Mount for 14 years and has taught 2nd through 5th grade. She was previously a Health Educator then an Early Childhood Specialist for the City of Fort Worth. Prior to that she was a program coordinator at North Dallas High School. Mrs. Ribota enjoys yoga, pilates and meditation.
Yahaira Aguilera obtained her bachelor's degree, in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University, and her master's degree, in Educational Leadership Policy and Studies from University of Texas at Arlington. Before teaching grades 1st and 4th, she was a bilingual teacher assistant for grades pre-K through 5th grade in Fort Worth Independent School District for about three years. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and photography. One way to describe Miss Aguilera will be: a lifelong learner.
I will share with you one of my favorite quotes of all time:
“Every child has an innate desire to learn.”
Mrs. Banis is originally from San Antonio. She attended St. Edward's University in Austin and graduated in 2001. She taught one year there before moving to Fort Worth and starting at South Hi Mount. We just can't get rid of her. 😂 This veteran teacher has taught 2nd-5th grade. She resides just outside of Fort Worth with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, going to movies, reading, and learning how to be a better teacher.
